Ian Leslie – Director of Marketing and Membership

Ian Leslie joined the staff of the Lowcountry Economic Network in September 2008 as Director of Marketing and Membership. Leslie is a New York native who arrived in South Carolina in 2001 .He currently makes his home in Port Royal with his wife, Carolyn, and their two sons. Leslie graduated from the University at Albany - part of the State University of New York system - in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in English. He worked as a journalist for eight years before joining the Network and covered local state politics in South Carolina and New York. Leslie and his wife have volunteered their time with several local organizations, including Lowcountry Habitat for Humanity, Friends of Caroline Hospice and Operation Holiday Heroes.
