The vision of a new shipping port on the South Carolina banks of the Savannah River is closer to becoming a reality than it's ever been.

A joint partnership between the Georgia and South Carolina state ports authorities led to the purchase of more than 1,500 acres. The Joint Project Office, made up of representatives from both states, has been tasked with leading the charge to develop what will become the East Coast's premier deepwater shipping terminal.

The Jasper Ocean Terminal will be able to handle the post-panamax ships that the shipping industry will depend on, and the Lowcountry has sites available to meet your logistics and distribution needs.

We're ready! Are you?
