Dean Moss - Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority - Chairman of the Lowcountry Economic Alliance

Dean Moss graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in geography and obtained a master’s degree in regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Moss has served as General Manager of the Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority since 1986. A former Chief of Planning and Deputy Director for the Arizona Department of Water Resources, Moss formerly held positions as Planning Director with the Arizona Department of Health Services and as Environmental Planner with the Brevard County, Florida Planning and Zoning Department. He was also 208 Project Director with the Northern Arizona Council of Governments in Flagstaff. Moss is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lowcountry Economic Network and serves as Co-Chairman of its Workforce Development and Education Committee. He is also a former Navy serviceman and Vietnam veteran.
